Tragedy struck the extended family of Monte Cyr, Global Nazarene Youth International president and regional youth coordinator for the Caribbean Region, Thursday morning, January 31. Cyr received news that his niece, Jessica Hiser, 19, was killed in a traffic accident in Idaho. The Idaho Statesman, citing sheriff's reports, stated Hiser was traveling northbound on U.S. 95 and crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic. Slippery road conditions and snow are suspected to have contributed to the crash.The Cyr family asks for prayer as they and their extended family grieve this loss.
