It is with great sadness that the Church of the Nazarene in Haiti writes to ask for prayer. On Tuesday, December 11, Omega Pierre-Louis Nelson, the wife of Pastor Sadrack Nelson, died suddenly and unexpectedly. She was 29.According to friends, Mrs. Nelson went to work and began to complain of a sudden problem. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died while doctors were treating her. Funeral services are set for Saturday, December 15 on the campus of Haiti Nazarene Bible College. Pastors Lucien Jean Baptiste and Walliere Pierre will officiate the ceremony along with others who will pay tribute.Omega Nelson leaves behind her husband and a one-year-old son.Prayer is requested for Sadrack Nelson, who also serves as the director of Haiti Theological Seminary’s extension program and as the national Nazarene Youth International coordinator. Be in prayer for too for their church congregation. To send a note please write to, communications@caribnaz.org--Caribbean Communications Office
