Nazarene Communications Network - Retired Cape Verde missionary passes away: "Gloria Crawford Henck, 78, passed away October 6 at Green Meadows Nursing Home in Louisville, Ohio.She was born March 28, 1930, in Richwood, West Virginia, to Orville and Freda (White) Crawford.
Gloria graduated from high school in Chester, West Virginia, and received her bachelor's degree in literature from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Henck taught English as a second language following graduation. In 1958, Gloria Henck and her husband, Roy M. Henck, were appointed to the Cape Verde Islands off the coast of Africa and served at the Bible College there. Gloria Henck served as a teacher and Roy Henck served as the mission director."
